Mark your calendar for 14 October 2010, because that's the day for a rather hot Virtual Conference entitled EDA: The Next Big Things. And why is it so hot? Well, apart from anything else...

... yours truly is going to be moderating one of the sessions. The exciting thing for me is the company I'll be keeping, because the other moderators are:

Don Dingee, Editorial Director, Embedded Computing Design
Brian Bailey, Independent Electronic Design Automation Consultant
Harry Gries, aka "Harry The ASIC Guy," ASIC Design Consultant

Engineers from around the world are invited to learn about Analog and Mixed Signal, System-on-Chip, High-Level Design, and Verification. Each session will also include a special "Ask the Experts" panel for attendees to ask their questions and network with vendors.

The fifth and final session of the day is the keynote Executive Roundtable webcast, where executives from the leading EDA vendors will be discussing the "EDA: The Next Big Things" with a moderated Q&A session.

Of course it's free to attend, and you have the option to choose between the five events to attend in one day or you may choose to attend them all. As the organizers proudly boast: "There is no travel time and you have complete freedom to enter and leave at your will."
