LFSRs etc.

This is a Community containing all things related to Linear Feedback Shift Registers (LFSRs) and their use or mathematical basis. LFSRs are used for Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC), Parallel Signature Analysis (PSA) and pseudo-random pattern generation with Built-In Self Test (BIST) as well as pseudo-random number generation to list just a few applications.

Analog & Mixed Signal

The Analog & Mixed Signal Community discusses technologies and applications in that tidy bit of spectrum between DC and daylight. These include, but are certainly not limited to, signal conditioning and processing, energy management, functional monitoring, and communications. Due to the nature of the analog-digital interface (itself an analog construct) this community also discusses data converters, PWMs, and other discrete-time objects the performance of which depends on one or more continuous variable. Analog: There’s no Digital Abstraction without it!
