Lightning StrikesWe had a lightning strike the other week. Actually it was a near miss but It’s incredible the amount of damage that can occur. The ADSL router was toast of course, as was my firewall PC it was connected to, and the Gigabit Ethernet switch connected to that, and the DELL server which, thank the gods is fully backed up off line, which was connected to the same Ethernet switch. Everything else on the LAN survived. |
