  • Although I started my career, like so many other electrical engineers, as a hardware designer, at some point along the way I got hooked on verification. In particular on the unsurpassed performance and amazing capabilities of hardware-assisted verification, which has made methodologies like FPGA-based Rapid Prototyping essential for a successfully ASIC/ASSP/SoC development. One could even say that every ASIC somehow ends up in an FPGA for verification or software development purposes.
