I locked my keys in the car once when it was raining. I had to wait about an hour for the guy to show up. The bad part is I left my windows down and everything inside got drenched.

I remember not too long ago as case where a rental car was being returned. We got our stuff out of the car, and then my friend dropped the keys onto the front seat and closed the car door. Well, the lock button must have gotten pressed, because when the guy came up to check the car in - the car was locked and there were the keys.

So, I can totally believe that number. I also wonder about the trends in breakdowns. It used to be fairly common to get a flat tire, but not so much these days. I wonder what the #1 problem is now. Timing belts perhaps?

	            	            Rick,

What most people don't know is that every service call by AAA is reported as an insurance claim. So that quick call to get into your locked car counts as an insurance claim - which may increase your other premiums.
