Hi Brian, Thanks for mentioning us. Glad you like the idea of stereoscopic 3D visualization of 3D EM simulation results. Our artist artist Neila Stewart did a great job representing the "out-of-screen" feeling.

Hi Janine, Yes, as you probably know Agilent and Ansys have a long history, first as partners and lately competitors in the 3D EM simulator space. We both began in the 1980's in our incarnations as H-P and Prof. Cendes's Ansoft, respectively. But getting back to the news here, this new capability is unique. It’s not about the 3D EM simulator itself, but how you visualize the results after the simulation is complete. You wear special 3D Vision glasses and see the fields in currents not flat on a screen, but stereoscopically like a high quality 3D movie. We’re not talking here about the old, headache-inducing, red-blue lens glasses. These give you crisp, vivid, flicker-free, high-resolution stereoscopic vision.

We’d like to arrange to give you both a demo. Words and flat pictures don’t do it justice!

This is cool Brian. If this is an area of interest for you, Ansoft has also been doing 3D EM simulation for some time. http://www.ansoft.com/products/hf/hfss/
